Republic Bank & Trust Company’s long tradition of being a dedicated, community-based organization extends far beyond banking and financial services. 2022 was Republic Bank’s 40th anniversary, and when we asked our associates how they wanted to celebrate, instead of suggesting a party or commemorative gifts they resoundingly said the best way to honor our legacy was through community involvement. From this came a special concentrated period of “40 Acts of Service” with hundreds of Republic associates rolling up their sleeves and getting to work across our communities in five states.
In 2022, Republic Bank was honored to be one of just seven banks nationwide to receive the Community Commitment Awards by the American Bankers Association Foundation. The ABA Foundation’s executive director said, “We applaud Republic for its unwavering commitment to community and hope others throughout the industry will be inspired to give back and drive community change.”
